June/July 2018 Fishing Report – Bring on the Wahoo!
Wahoo are here! During this time of year the water is cooling which means more marine activity and lots of Wahoo close to the bay. These fish are a blast to catch as they swim at very fast speeds and destroy your bait with a violent strike. It’s not uncommon to have 4 fish on at the same time where the anglers will have to “dance” around each other to avoid getting tangled up. We are also experiencing a decent Sailfish bite but we are anticipating the numbers to increase dramatically in the next 30 days. Fortunately for our clients, the Marlin are mixed in with the Sailfish, meaning anglers are catching the Marlin on lighter tackle making the quality of the fight more intense…

Dear people of Reel Escape,
We had a great time. Of all these years fishing, it was my first time to catch a Roosterfish. We even caught 7 of them. Great Experience! Thank you Willy and Crew to make this possible. Great Day!
