Drake Bay is located in one of the most beautiful, unspoiled places on earth, the southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica near Corcovado National Park. Because of its proximity to the famous Furuno Banks, Caño Island reef and numerous river mouths we offer our clients many fishing options with our sport fishing charter trips in Drake Bay, CR. The surrounding waters here are generally very calm, the water can even have a “glassy” appearance at times. Because of our location, our clients have a wide variety of species to choose from. Where and what we catch is also dependent on the season, weather patterns, tides and phase of the moon, but generally we offer four “types” of fishing opportunities. It may be possible to do a “combination trip” on a full day charter.

Prices for the boat is in US dollars and do not include tax. We offer private charters only. We do not offer shared trips. For larger parties, we will reserve additional boats.
Payment/Deposit
Once booked, we will invoice you for your trip through PayPal. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Cash.
A 50% deposit is required 30 days or more in advance of your trip. There is no cancellation fee if cancelled prior to 30 days in advance of your trip. Full payment is due 30 days in advance of your trip. Cancellations received 29 days or less of your trip are non-refundable.
If for any reason, we need to cancel your reservation, or any segment of your booking, you will be offered an alternative date, boat, or option. If you are unable to accept an alternative, a full refund will be issued.
As you can see, this is not your “average fishing trip”. The key is to communicate with your captain about the type(s) of fishing you desire. Captain Willy will be able to guide you on what the best options for your trip are, given the conditions and season.
